Account and data deletion

Remove your account and vehicle archive.

You can delete your Homologate account yourself at any time from the web app or the Android app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete on the web

Sign in at Homologate and open Account.
Choose "Delete account and archive" and confirm.

Delete in the Android app

Open the Account tab and choose "Account deletion".
Tap "Delete account and archive" and confirm. The copy of your garage on that device is cleared as well.

Google or Facebook sign-in users

If you signed in with Google or Facebook, Homologate stores the name, email address, profile photo URL, and provider account ID that the provider shared at sign-in. To delete that data and everything else associated with your account:

Sign in with the same Google or Facebook account, then delete your account on the web or in the app using the steps above.
Optionally, remove Homologate's access: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Homologate, and choose Remove; on Google, visit your Google account connections and remove Homologate.
If you can no longer sign in, email support@homologate.app from the email address on your Google or Facebook account with the subject "Account deletion request", and we will verify and delete the account manually.

Removing access in Google or Facebook alone does not delete your Homologate data; it only prevents future sign-ins through that provider.

What is deleted

Your account, sign-in identities, profile, vehicles, records, notes, specifications, share links (which stop working immediately), collaborator entries, uploaded photos, and uploaded documents are deleted from our active systems when deletion completes.

What may remain temporarily

Residual copies in provider backups and operational logs, which are removed as they expire per the vendors' log retention policies and backup schedules.
Emails already delivered, such as collaborator invitations, which remain in recipients' inboxes.
Copies on other devices or exports you downloaded. Deletion cannot remotely erase these; remove them from each device.
Limited information we must keep for security, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.

Deleting specific items only

You can delete individual vehicles, records, photos, and documents in the app without deleting your account. For anything you cannot remove yourself, email support@homologate.app with enough detail to identify the item.
